Pier Filippo Giuggioli

Pier Filippo, the founding partner of the firm, is a lawyer specialising in contract law, commercial law, bankruptcy law, and class and serial litigation.

A Professor of Comparative Private Law at the University of Milan, he has also held leadership roles in coordinating and directing research centres, specialisation courses, and university spin-offs.

Former Visiting Professor at the University of Cambridge, the University of Warsaw, the University of Sofia, the University of Bucharest and University of Pilsen, as well as Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN).

Former Italian member of the Task Force on Criminal Law and Arbitration of the Commission on Arbitration – International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Giulio Giuggioli

Giulio leads the Corporate/Commercial department at Giuggioli & Partners law firm.

Specialised in corporate and commercial law, particularly in contracts for both private and publicly listed companies, he has extensive experience in M&A transactions, having worked with industrial and private equity clients.

As part of his M&A expertise, he has also been involved in negotiating and formalising purchase and sales agreements, mergers and integrations of companies and entities, shareholder agreements and protocols, joint venture agreements, and investment vehicles.

He led engagement teams responsible for conducting legal due diligence audits of national and international groups, while also coordinating advisory services related to financing acquisitions and navigating regulatory merger control processes.

He specialises in analysing, designing, and planning the commercial and regulatory aspects of reorganisation processes for national and international business groups. This includes coordinating with law firms in other jurisdictions for cross-border cases and collaborating with specialists in various fields, such as tax, labour, administrative, and, in some cases, antitrust regulations, to ensure comprehensive support throughout these processes.

He also leads the “Energy” practice, bringing extensive experience in energy law, including both ordinary and special regimes for generation (such as renewable energy), as well as in the hydrocarbon sector, covering upstream, midstream, downstream, and oil & gas activities.

Francesca Cremonesi

Francesca holds a law degree from the University of Milan and has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 2009.

As the head of the “Litigation” practice, she has extensive experience in civil, commercial, and arbitration litigation, particularly in business contracts, public and private contracts, and real estate law. She has advised both Italian and international clients across various industries, with a special focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.

She oversees all legal aspects of extraordinary transactions (M&A) for both Italian and international clients.

Adriano Curti

Adriano holds a law degree from the University of Macerata and a PhD in Comparative Law from the University of Milan, where he also taught as a researcher and associate professor.

Specialised in commercial and corporate consulting, he represents the firm’s clients in all matters before the Civil Courts, including liability and compensation cases, arbitration, and class actions.

Adriano also has extensive experience in managing large family estates, providing assistance to clients in succession, separation, and divorce matters.

A member of the Milan Bar Association since 2013, he is the author of numerous publications on private law and comparative legal proceedings.

Roberta Ardigò

Roberta specialises in corporate and tax consultancy for both Italian and international companies involved in acquisitions, sales, reorganisations, mergers, spin-offs, joint ventures, and financing operations (such as leasing and project financing). She serves clients across various industries, with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Co-director for the “Energy” practice, she specialises in the renewable energy sector, coordinating all stages of project and production plant acquisition, development, and sale, as well as managing the research and securing of necessary funding to support these operations.

A graduate in Economics and Commerce from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Roberta previously worked at one of Italy’s leading legal and tax consultancy firms. There, she gained extensive experience as a corporate and tax consultant, specialising in corporate M&A for prominent Italian and international groups.

She has also gained professional experience at a leading global strategic consulting firm in the UK.
